Highly Flexible and Accurate Production of Pharmaceutical Solid Dosages

Our modular multi-dosing system provides an ideal solution for the precise powder dosing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients in the solid dosage production process.

Customers can configure up to eight different dosing units, each tailored to specific product characteristics such as feed rate, accuracy, and flow behavior, in a modular fashion to meet their individual requirements.

This multi-dosing system is adaptable for both continuous production processes with refilling units and traditional batch procedures. Achieving high-precision dosing results, even with challenging powders that are hardly flowing or cohesive, is crucial for ensuring a consistent and repeatable process in subsequent activities like mixing, blending, granulation, hot-melt extrusion, drying, (direct) compression, and coating.

The system's outputs range from 0.005 kg/h to 1,000 kg/h, depending on the diameter and design of the screws. It is available as a stand-alone unit or as an integrable component for installation in an isolator.

Key advantages include maximum flexibility with 1 to 8 dosing units, high accuracy through gravimetric loss-in-weight feeding with digital load cells, a flat-tray execution for challenging products, pharmaceutical design for easy disassembly and cleaning, suitability for Wet-in-place (WIP) applications, and the ability to conduct trials with custom products in Three-Tec's in-house test lab.
