Highly Flexible and Accurate Production of Pharmaceutical Solid Dosages

Our modular multi-dosing system is a versatile and highly effective solution for the precise dosing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients in solid dosage production. This system is engineered to offer the flexibility needed in the pharmaceutical industry, where dosing accuracy is paramount for ensuring the quality and consistency of final products. By allowing customers to configure up to eight individual dosing units, the system can be customized to meet specific requirements, such as feed rate, dosing accuracy, and powder flow behavior. This makes it an ideal choice for a wide range of applications, from small-scale experimental setups to large-scale production.

Each dosing unit in the multi-dosing system is designed to handle a variety of product characteristics, including powders with challenging flow properties, such as poorly flowing or cohesive substances. This adaptability ensures that the system can provide high-precision dosing even with difficult-to-process materials, making it perfect for pharmaceutical applications where consistency is key. The accurate dosing results achieved through this system are crucial for maintaining a consistent and repeatable process, supporting downstream activities such as mixing, blending, granulation, hot-melt extrusion, drying, (direct) compression, and coating.

The modular multi-dosing system offers a wide range of throughput capabilities, with outputs ranging from 0.005 kg/h to 1,000 kg/h. This flexibility is determined by the diameter and design of the screws used in the dosing units. The system can function as a stand-alone unit or be integrated into an isolator, allowing for easy installation in different production environments.

One of the system’s key advantages is its ability to provide maximum flexibility, offering between 1 and 8 dosing units depending on production needs. It also ensures high accuracy through gravimetric loss-in-weight feeding, utilizing digital load cells for precise measurement. The system's flat-tray design is ideal for handling challenging products, and its pharmaceutical-grade construction ensures easy disassembly and cleaning, making it suitable for Wet-in-place (WIP) applications.

Additionally, customers can benefit from conducting trials with custom products at our in-house test laboratory, allowing for hands-on evaluation and optimization of their specific formulations. This comprehensive support, combined with the system’s modular design, makes the multi-dosing system an indispensable tool for achieving precise, repeatable, and scalable dosing in pharmaceutical production.
